Two Photos



Above is a photo that shows the condition of the front trim parts. Also a photo of my steering box awaiting the steering column which, in turn, is awiting powder coating.

Hi Charlie -

Well, how lucky are you! The chrome trim you have is in much MUCH better condition than mine was, so it should be completely repairable. The strips have come up like new, in fact with the re-metalling, coppering and chroming done, they are probably better than new, as there would be a greater depth of treatment than originally applied. As an indication of cost for my repairs ... A$176 for stripping and polishing, A$220 for repairs, and A$220 for re-chroming.

There is also a third trim piece, which is the bit that runs down the centre between the left and right pieces.

You must have chrome restorers in Canada!
