Horn Reborn

Today I received my horn, freshly redone from E. Lawrie Rhodes in Medfield, MA. Turns out it is a Lucas 12V Model HF 1235, date of manufacture 8-50. Lawrie turned it around in about 10 days at a reasonable cost, and the result is awesome (see photo above). As near as I can tell, my horn had been exposed to the salt air of Victoria and Canadian winters for about 25 years. I thought repair was unlikely, but alas, I have the original horn back and it looks and sounds great. Before going with Lawrie, I contacted the Taff Horns guy. He made horn repair sound like he was fixing the space shuttle. I think he's a moron. I sent Lawrie off the Lucas wiper motor today as well.
