When I started this project a metalwork guy named Monty came out to look at my van. About restoration he said, "you'll spend the most amount of time on smallest things." I think I know what he means. Today I went to Blair Machine near my house. The owner John (that's him in the photo) has done a few thing for me. He cleans up nicely and owns a Daimler 250. When I removed the door locks from the van, one of them didn't have the little circular washer thingy that decorates handle. So I asked John to make one and he did, and then he added another. So now I have three.
