Old Style Shock Mounts
In dismantling Victoria it became obvious that three of the original shock mounts were unusable. They were simply driven to destruction and held together, in at least two cases, by a brass solder. Enclosed are my recently received replacements. They were done by a guy named Martin, who is orignally from Manchester, but who has benn in Vancouver since 1983. Good guy. His boss on the other hand, the guy who owns the shop, completely bent me over for doing the job. My ass still hurts. It's my own fault though.
In the photo above there are three new replacement mounts and two originals. The smaller of the two originals will be reused.
